NURSING MANAGER MED/SURG -FT VARIED -DESERT SPRINGS

ResponsibilitiesDesert Springs Hospital Medical Centeris a 282-bed acute care facility that has been providing quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1971. The hospital has long been referred to as “The Heart Hospital” by residents, due to its solid reputation as a leader in cardiac care. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services and is nationally recognized for its diabetes, weight loss (bariatric) surgery, cardiac, and stroke programs. Desert Springs Hospital won the Gold Medal for Best Hospital in Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Job Description: Responsible for the 24 hour management of the assigned unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care.QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required and one (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required.
License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BCLS Certification.
Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
