NWO’s bleeding-edge technology enables clients to surface the fears, motivations and demand drivers underlying various trends, providing them with unprecedented access to the why behind a narrative. NWO’s platform is already in use by Fortune 500 brands to empower key resource allocation decisions.

Following an impressive seed-funding-round in 2020, we are scaling fast and searching for a talented generalist that enjoys solving complex NLP, time series, and information retrieval problems at scale, and generally shipping robust software. You will have the opportunity to contribute in all phases of the product lifecycle – from suggesting the use of emerging methods and rapidly prototyping solutions, to implementing the approaches in production.

Required:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in data science, computational linguistics, natural language processing, or related fields
• Experience in Python, ML/DL frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow), and SQL
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for entity resolution, disambiguation, and linking
• Experience implementing & productionizing research, evaluating experiments & models
• A self-starting, intellectually curious, solutions-oriented mindset

Nice to haves:

• Applied research experience in the field (NLP, Graph ML, Knowledge Graphs)
• Good understanding of the best practices for developing software (version control, CI/CD, automation, peer-programming, documentation, testing, etc)
• Experience working with graph data models (RDF, Property), databases (Amazon Neptune, Neo4J, TigerGraph), or graph query languages (Gremlin, SPARQL, Cypher)
• Familiarity with GCP (especially BigQuery, Dataflow)
• A love for keeping up with current affairs and the latest trends

Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
