Job Description

Duties:

  • Supervise a team of 5-20 team members and team leaders
  • Achieve 100% customer satisfaction

  • Focus on continual improvement and operational efficiency through excellence in receiving, identifying, inspecting, and assurance of quality and inventory control of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of activities and employees performance
  • Organize and maintain efficiency of inbound and outbound staging areas
  • Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload
  • Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
  • Update FMDS board as required by Operations Manager
  • Conduct safety walks to ensure warehouse is in 5S compliance
  • Prepare evaluation reviews and safety observations. Operations Manager will review.
  • Establish training plan for all new hires under the guidance of Operations Manager
  • Create and update WIS as required by Operations Manager
  • Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
  • Review and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed; continually analyze for areas to improve existing processes

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts is required
  • Proven work experience as a supervisor is required
  • Extensive mobile equipment experience is a must
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input and retrieve data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excels at operating in a fast pace, customer centric environment
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
