Job Description

SUMMARY:

As Night Auditor, you perform the auditing functions according to the hotel policies and procedures. Perform Manager on Duty’ responsibilities and Front Desk Representative’ duties during audit shift. Excellent in math and reasoning skills. Ability to organize work, using independent judgment to perform tasks, honesty, dependable with a positive attitude.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include:

· Registers guests into the hotel in a courteous manner and in accordance to established policies and procedures; becomes informed of events in the hotel during the shift.

· Checks guests out of the hotel; processes customer payments according to established policies and procedures.

· Responds to guest requests promptly; provides guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase guest satisfaction.

· Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer; informs General Manager of major problems, complaints, disturbances or unhappy guests.

· Books guest reservations in person, by phone, in writing or online.

· Handles departmental accounting of moneys, receipts, guest accounts and other forms of credit; posts all charges; completes cashier's report, prepares deposit and counts cashier bank.

· Issues, controls and releases guest safe-deposit boxes.

· Reconciles point of sale areas of all cash, credit card and related sales activity.

· Reconcile room rates charged.

· Reconcile all revenues to Property Management System.

· Performs night audit functions in the Choice Advantage system.

· Deliver guest folio receipts to scheduled check-out rooms

· Assist to set up breakfast service when needed

· May perform light maintenance duties when needed

· May be required to perform other reasonable duties as requested by the management

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, speaking, hearing, reading, writing, able to carry between 30-40 lbs. without assistance, walking, lifting and reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, bending and able to walk stairs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
