Job Description:

The Network Administrator will generally perform administration duties for networking hardware including routers, switches, hubs, gateways, access points, network interface cards, networking cables, network bridges, modems, ISDN adapters, firewalls and other related network hardware, and must have firm grasp and knowledge of fiber and copper-based Ethernet technologies, capabilities and cabling and their connectivity to local and wide area networks.

Training and Certifications:

DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order. Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order.

Required Certifications:

IAT II 8570 Baseline Certification - Sec+CE or equivalent

Computing Env:

CCNA Certified Network Administrator

Education and Experience:

• HS/GED + 10 years
• Associates Degree + 8 years
• Bachelor’s Degree + 6 years
• Master’s Degree + 4 years
• PhD + 2 years
