Responsibilities Candidates should be self-starters that love to learn new technologies. The ideal individual will be a thought leader who is able to design and deliver applications built to run in Azure, or assess existing applications for migration to Azure. An ideal candidate should also be familiar with modern software development practices such as version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment and is eager to empower other development teams in the use of these practices. This position takes personal ownership of technical envisioning and implementation of solutions for our customers. You will be helping clients understand, adopt, and grow their Azure presence through the various platform-as-a-service Azure has to offer. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Lead application assessment and strategy engagements for customers
- Identify customer requirements and translate those requirements into a technical design
- Learn and keep up to date with the latest trends in application development and Cloud technologies, including changes to the Azure platform, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, etc.
- Deliver customer-facing presentations and be able to speak to all levels of IT
- Deliver and implement Azure based solutions
- Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams as needed for customer engagements.
- Document projects as they occur through daily status reports and time entry.
- Collaborate with senior and junior team members on larger projects.
- Provide education on technologies to others who are not as familiar with them.
- Assist in building statements of work and planning project effort.
- Ability to travel, overnight up to 10%
- Ability to travel on behalf of KiZAN with reliable transportation
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- 5+ years of experience in .NET and object oriented programming, experience with .NET Core is preferred
- 3+ years of experience building solutions in Azure using platform-as-a-service offerings, including:
- App Service
- Azure Functions
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure SQL
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus
- Experience with the Agile process
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS
- Firm understanding of source control practices including branching, merging, and pull requests
- Firm understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
- Experience and comfort with business analysis, requirements definition & vetting
- Entity Framework, NHibernate, or other ORMs
- Knowledge and prior use of Dependency Injection
- Familiarity of S.O.L.I.D. and D.R.Y. principles
- Utilize expert troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently/self-reliant and show initiative with minimum supervision
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply to appropriate business situations
