Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented MTSE Strategic Research Analyst to join our team in the Columbia,MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Mission Thread-Based Strategic Engagement (MTSE) support – Translation at the most basic level = Technical Strategic Research and Analysis.

The ideal candidates are outgoing and engaging technical strategic researchers, analysts and problem solvers. MTSE Strategic research analysts are responsible for combing diverse resources (mission databases, people resources, knowledge repositories, configuration management artifacts, architecture/system/network diagrams, survey data, meeting notes, etc.) and culling findings to yield relevant data that supports current strategy alignment, identifies deltas and gaps and provides direction for future planning opportunities. The resulting data and analysis populates evaluation framework and assessment tools and provides invaluable insights that drive efficient response to questions and formal actions, meeting and conference agenda topics, tasking direction and strategic reviews of symbiotic relationships, capabilities and return-on-investment valuations.

Additionally, MTSE strategic research analysts will contribute to developing and improving assessment considerations, capture and analysis tools, framework improvements and evaluation processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Research, data gathering and analysis, technical writing, data interpretation, strong communications (written and oral) and critical thinking skills.
• Desired technical skills and experience include: data acquisition, analysis & management, information assurance, cyber security, computer networks, telecommunications, RF and wireless technologies and satellite and terrestrial communications systems.

• TS/SCI w/ Poly

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Working With Data.
• Move about freely in a laboratory setting.
• Repetitive Motions.
