The Account Manager I (AM I) is responsible for receiving new loan submissions and coordinating the closing of the loan within a specified time frame. The daily functions include but are not limited to, verifying borrower’s information, verifying loan rates, and collecting all necessary data.

What you'll do:

  • Provides support to all channels (Retail, Wholesale, Correspondent) Account Executives.
  • Assists AM II with loan processing and gains knowledge of document verification in preparation to fund loans, including initial disclosures.
  • With assistance of AM III, will maintain an accurate pipeline of loans with 5-10 loans at any given time, learning various facets of responsiveness and needed detail. Demonstrates high prioritization to perform daily follow up on all deals currently in process, ensuring documents are received timely.
  • Track to make sure all conditions are satisfied. Informs AM II if missing documents and provides follow-up steps.
  • Reviews files with an eye for quality assurance and verification that all pertinent documents are included.
  • Assists AM II with their communication with customers, professionals, managers, AE’s, Underwriters, Funders, and third-party vendors. Holds confidence to communicate status of activity and escalate issues of concerns.
  • Supports development of peers and self.

What you’ll need:

  • High School diploma or GED; college Degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in mortgage origination, preferably in private/hard money space.
  • Non-agency product preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge and use of MS Office (specifically Outlook, Excel and Word), imaging system and the internet.
  • Experience working with LOS Encompass is a plus.
  • Possesses strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
