Job Description
Halvik is seeking Microsoft Windows Server Administrators for a full time opportunity in McLean, VA. Requirements: 4+ years recent experience as a Microsoft Windows Server administrator (Server 2016, Server 2019, or newer), performing work described in CLIN 0005. Education may not be substituted for experience.

- Experience installing, administering, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting, and improving Windows Server environments
- Experience with creating and managing snapshot policies
- Experience with configuring and scheduling automated backups
- Experience with performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization of Windows environments
- Experience with disaster recovery and high availability
- Proficiency with writing PowerShell scripts
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of networking including IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS
- Experience working in regulated government environments
