Merchandiser /Sales Trainee

Position Summary:

Merchandiser will support Sales Representatives in key chain accounts. They will assist in building and merchandising displays, selling, maintaining 100% distribution on the shelf and the cold box.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• The ASA will work under the direction of the District Manager in the assigned territory and key accounts
• Maintain 100% shelf distribution of all authorized item in each account and assist in selling new items into distribution when possible
• Communicate current pricing information and ensure all pricing is correct on shelves and displays
• Build and merchandise displays, fill shelves, and cold boxes, rotate vintages, point-of-sale material management and maintain Romano – Regal Wine Company merchandising standards
• Establish and maintain rapport with store managers, liquor department manager and other store personnel
• Demonstrate strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change
• Effectively work with minimal supervision
• Actively participate in trainings and meetings to support self-development and professional growth
• Passion to grow wine and spirits knowledge
• Participate in store level resets of the alcoholic beverage department
• Other duties as to be assign by District Manager

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
