Job Description
Overview: Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Laboratory Scientist II for hematology testing. The shift is 11pm to 7am and every third weekend.Responsibilities: Perform ABO/Rh type, antibody screening, antibody identification, compatibility testing, component storage, preparation and issue in trauma center blood bank.Qualifications:Education:1. Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution. Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation.
2. ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.Requirements:Minimum 2 years Blood Bank experience preferred.
Must have strong communications skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player
