Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Front Desk Administrative Assistant to become a part of our team! Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills. They must also have the ability to give attention to detail and multi-task while maintaining a warm, friendly and caring presence.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls & Schedule appointments.
  • Greet patients on arrival and check out when leaving.
  • Gather patient information & insurance information.
  • Enter demographics into management system.
  • Collect payments and record with accuracy.
  • Mail products.
  • Keep reception area and administrative area welcoming for patients.
  • Communicate patient needs with appropriate physician and staff.
  • Be willing to perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of previous experience working in a medical office.
  • Ability to create a great customer/patient experience.
  • Strong organizational & computer skills.
  • Professional attitude and presence.
  • Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excels in a busy environment.
  • Dependable.
  • Must be able to travel between our Virginia and Chevy Chase office when needed.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree.
