Position Summary

Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.

Minimum Requirements

• HS graduate or equivalent required. One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.

• Preferred Certified Medical Assistant.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider status is required upon hire.

• Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.

• Requires at least three months of relative work experience. Working knowledge of equipment utilization, maintenance and safety.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Preferred Phlebotomy Experience.

• Preferred Health and Wellness Experience

Other Information

• Full-Time - 40 hours per week. Hours will vary between 7:30am-6:30pm - occasional evenings may be required.
