Medical Assistant For Busy Primary Care Doctor

This position is in a busy family practice office. The job can be either part-time or full-time. You must be trained in blood draws, giving shots and taking vitals, as well as basic operation of the lab, minor procedures, room set-up and patient care. You will serve as the doctor's right hand in a family practice setting where kindness, skill and efficiency are highly valued. You will be asked, among other things, to do prior authorizations, schedule CTs, X-rays, MRIs, mammograms, etc. The main criteria in addition to your top-notch medical skills: You are smart, a quick learner, pleasant and helpful with patients and fellow employees, practice good phone skills, are polite, cheerful, honest and willing to take direction. You should have good computer skills/typing/spelling/English and be a team player. We are a small office and we expect our employees to play well with others and leave drama at the door.
