Job Description
Overview: Lights, Camera, Action!! Our Media Producer creates cinematically engaging performances, stories, and ministry testimonies that delight and engage our audience. As our Media Producer on our Video Team, you will enthusiastically apply modern, best practices of media production to projects. The success of this role is measured through new viewership, increased views, and cumulative viewing sessions. In addition, the ability to contribute creatively, work collaboratively with others, and adhere to our high standards of quality. Most of your time will be spent working on our Podcast platform, AccessMore, shooting, editing, working with the team. This position is in Nashville, TN.

So, what will you be doing on a daily basis?
  • Primarily editing for our podcast platform, AccessMore. In addition, set up video, audio equipment and lights. Capture video through filming with the edit in mind. Know what shots are needed for the final product to be pieced together by the editor.
  • Use visual and narrative storytelling.
  • Organize and maintain all equipment.
  • Organize footage from shoots and show competency to keep track of project files and source files associated with the projects.
  • As assigned, lead media projects. Show confidence while speaking directly to clients, gain information about project needs and relay the information to the media team.
  • Ensure the production details are in place for smooth and organized production for all in-progress projects.
  • Contribute to the quality of the end-product and towards the results that the team achieves.
  • Keep abreast with industry trends (film, TV, digital), best practices, and standards including storytelling techniques and creative process innovations. Keep up to date with digital technologies around media production.

Here’s the experience and background we are seeking:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in film and/or TV industry and video production industry.
  • Deep working knowledge across all film production related disciplines.
  • Ability to speak the “lingo” of modern practices of videography and editing.
  • Ability to meticulously refine, re-event the way the story is being conveyed cinematically, taking interest in the physical aspect of creating art.
  • Knowledge of latest techniques with a passion for filming, editing, and a vocation of media production. Experienced videographer, one who is capable and knowledgeable with the equipment currently in use.
  • Understanding of established and emerging trends in content consumption and audience habits.
  • Working knowledge of media distribution.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to direct multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to creative and technical details, comfortable with multi-tasking, willingness to take ownership of team projects and picture the end-product during pre-production phase.
  • BS/BA Degree in Video Production, Design, Media Arts, Communications, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
