Job Description

Alcoa Agency is seeking a CMM Mechanical Inspector for an immediate contract position for an established precision parts manufacturer for the Aerospace and Medical Device Industries.

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of mechanical inspection experience in a production machine shop environment.
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Zeiss CMM programming and Calypso software highly preferred.
  • Fully understand and Interpret blueprints per ANSI Y14.5
  • Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and computer file systems.
  • Experience with SPC programs and statistical analysis is a plus.
  • High attention to detail required.

Description

  • Inspection of precision CNC machined parts using advanced inspection tools for final inspection.
  • Inspection with basic hand tools (calipers, micrometer, etc.)
  • Program CMM machines routinely
  • Verify machined parts conformance to design and test specifications requirements
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports and statistical
  • Interact with CNC machining operators and supervisors to resolve nonconformities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Dependent of level of experience.

Shift: 1pm to 10pm, but can be flexible
