Job Description
Overview:

Coordinates incoming and outgiong movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts.
Responsibilities:
Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers
Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials and purchasing, production and engineering.
Complies data on order volune, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials and requirements.
Oversees the flow of materials, parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorites
Develops polices and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking physcial inventory
Develops specifications for new contract orders
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 3 years or more of material experience
