Material Specialist

Location:

• Receiving incoming materials by verifying parts and quantities.
• Locating materials in proper locations.
• Have knowledge and understanding of bill of ladings and shipping/receiving.
• Accurate scanning of materials to and from discrete locations.
• Must have knowledge of People Soft system.
• Supplying production lines with materials.
• Weighing and dumping of scrap hoppers.
• Dumping of glass hoppers.
• Cleanliness of all material areas and loading docks.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Reporting of any material shortages.
• Must abide by all Comfort Bilt policies.
• Must be courteous and maintain a good working relationship with supervisor and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Reading and writing skills are essential. Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence. Ability to process specified instructions.
• Ability to handle up to 85 lbs.
  
  

• Forklift and truck operations.
• Understanding of overhead crane operation preferred.
