Material Planner

Description

Sentient Energy in Santa Clara, CA is looking for a detailed oriented, self-motivated Material Planner to manage the company’s day-to-day inventory activities to ensure that all material control and fulfillment needs are met. We’re looking for an individual who is self-sufficient, dependable, cool under pressure and eager to learn with a professional, supportive attitude. What You Will Do In Your Role

Inventory Control

• Perform ERP inventory transactions
• Perform ongoing cycle count and reconciliation
• Report and document inventory discrepancies and required adjustments
• Research, trace and match physical inventory and perform inventory adjustments
• Organize and maintain a small warehouse

Shipping

• Perform inbound and outbound shipping transactions and create required documentation
• Process International shipments
• Contact carrier for pick-up and manage delivery schedules for both inbound and outbound
• Perform basic research, confirmation and follow-up of products shipped

Receiving

• Receive and transact products and perform basic research on receiving discrepancies
• Work with purchasing and accounts payable to close procure to pay gaps
• Contact suppliers for returns and repairs and process RTVs

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of related shipping and receiving experience
• Familiarity with ERP processes and practices

• Bachelor's Degree
• Inventory control experience
• NetSuite ERP experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
