Job Description
Almac Group is currently seeking a Material Operator for our Souderton, PA location. The Material Operator is responsible for carrying out all material handling and transfer activities required within the warehouse to aid in servicing other Almac departments. They will be responsible for the physical movement and systematic transactions of material within the Almac Clinical Services – Souderton NAHQ warehouse and ensure that levels of customer service and cGMP compliance are maintained to the highest possible standards. **This is a 2nd Shift position - Hours: 3:00pm to 11:00pm**** Shift will include 10% shift differential** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform Initial Location of Quality Control Approved Material
    • Determine Most Suitable Location of Material
    • Safely Place Material into Adequate Locations
    • Transact All Stock Relocations within COSMOS via the Handheld Device
  • Fulfill Pharmacy Transfer Requests
    • Receive Emailed Requests to Relocate Material for Distribution
    • Physically Retrieve and Provide Required Material
    • Carry Out System Transactions within COSMOS
  • Facilitate Movement of Material
    • Transfer Stock to Label Room as Required
    • Fulfill Requests for Miscellaneous Non-Inventory Items
    • Consolidate Material within the Warehouse as Requested
  • Communicate the status of essential functions to the Materials Operator Grade 2 to ensure timely and accurate completion of required tasks.
  • Perform stock counts of specific inventory maintained under the preview of the Materials Department.
  • Operate Forklifts as required to facilitate material movement and put away.
  • Assist in other areas of both Materials, Production Support, and Receiving as required at the discretion of Logistics Management.
Qualifications:Required Experience / Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year work experience
Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Pharmaceutical Experience
  • Warehouse Experience
  • Data Entry Experience
  • Forklift Experience
  • Working in a cGMP environment
