CRA has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our small but growing Marketing and Content Services team. In this role, we will call on your inner creativity and trend insights to manage and create all content for our social media platforms. You will also participate in Charles River Analytics events, including conferences, and assist in event planning, logistical operations, execution. We will expect you to work collaboratively across all areas of CRA to execute on the company's vision and business objectives through events and social media.

How you will make a difference:

Social Media

  • Write all social media posts for Charles River Analytics
  • Own social media channels and drive social engagement
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure social media posts align with current marketing campaigns and events
  • Lead marketing all events and campaigns on social media
  • Analyze and report on social media metrics to management
  • Stay current on social media trends and platforms
  • Support marketing writing for the website

Event Coordination

  • Work with stakeholders to execute on CRA's vision and business objectives at events
  • Work directly with the Event Manager to plan events and communicate objectives, expectations, and responsibilities to stakeholders/vendors/attendees
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and technical teams to coordinate and manage event details
  • Coordinate packing, shipping to and from events, unpacking, maintenance, and storage of materials, supplies, and marketing collateral
  • Ensure the exhibit is properly maintained and stored
  • Attend all major events and lead booth setup, onsite coordination during the conference, and teardown. Train on and retain knowledge of technologies and products showcased during trade shows
  • During each event, ensure effective lead capture, coach the event team on proper data entry for leads, booth etiquette, and the goals for each show. Supervise lead follow up
  • Support teams handling event initiatives outside of trade shows as needed

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, hospitality, or related degree
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience with a focus on events and social media
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Proven and motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills
  • Willingness to collaboratively evolve this role with the needs of the Marketing and Content Services team and Charles River Analytics as a whole
  • Willingness to travel (10% travel)
  • Flexibility to work extended hours (evenings and weekends) during peak times
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is helpful, but not required
  • Experience representing high-tech products and services is helpful but not required; however, you must enjoy managing the additional logistics and inventory management required for high-tech demos, such as AR/VR support, sensors, manikins, drones, and robots
  • U.S. citizenship is required
