We are searching for a Marketing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant who is a dynamic problem-solver and thrives in a customer-facing role, juggling multiple priorities and assisting with large and small B2B marketing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Senior VP of Marketing in our Chicago office and be responsible for assisting with the coordination, planning, promotion, and execution of all property and corporate projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supports the Senior VP of Marketing in the coordination, creation, promotion, and execution of Property and corporate marketing related projects.
  • Assists with online B2B engagement to include various channels and social media reporting.
  • Works closely with regional marketing managers and creative services teams to facilitate marketing projects.
  • Assists in tracking the overall budget and expenses for marketing.
  • Coordinates and assists with various marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Maintains and manages the inventory of corporate marketing collateral, promotional items, and swag.
  • Tracks and coordinates pertinent data associated with property programs and prepares reports through direct interaction and engagement with property management and marketing personnel.
  • Assists with executing property level events, including day of event logistics, set up/clean up, and reporting.
  • Responsible for all proof-reading and grammar checks of all marketing materials.
  • Maintain and facilitate senior VP of Marketing calendar, travel, expense reports, and other administrative support as needed.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all relevant systems and procedures, including Digital Property Marketing, Salesforce, DAM, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or other related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (marketing, consumer product, commercial real estate, or digital/social marketing a plus!)
  • Must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, possess excellent people skills and build positive working relationships, both one-on-one and in a team setting with employees at all levels.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, team player with an outgoing, positive attitude.
  • A "can-do" mentality
  • Ability to maintain a high level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to balance a dynamic workload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit materials.
  • Expert in MS Office suite with advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to assist the regional team as needed with presentation preparation and research of tenant information, competitor stats, local market reports, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Salesforce, and Adobe Acrobat, InDesign a plus.
