Job Description
Kalman & Company is seeking a MARFORSOC Warehouse Manager to support a Marine Corps Logistics Command in Camp Lejeune, NC.

The Warehouse Manager will manage a team of people within warehousing, logistics, and inventory management in support of Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program. The Warehouse manager will recruit, lead, coach, mentor, develop, train, and schedule warehouse personnel while working with the Operations and Site Management teams to remain within on customer schedule in a fast-paced environment.

The primary objective of the CSP is to provide organization and individual issue, recovery, storage, requisitioning, maintenance and repair, management (including visibility, accountability, automated shelf-life management, and forecasting) for equipment to support the warfighter. Under the auspices of the Marine Corps Logistics Command, the CSP is the Marine Corps designated manager of fielded ICE, CBRN-D, STAP and SWS&CN. Via a centrally managed global network of regional and individual base facilities, CSP ensures that Marines worldwide have a single access point for serviceable equipment to meet their mission requirements.

  • Being a "Hands-on" Manager, participating in the daily warehousing duties (receiving, picking, packing, quality control, cycle counts, etc.).
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure customer service goals are continuously met.
  • Receive, analyze and react to daily status reports across all distribution center functional areas.
  • Analyze data on deliveries and transportation between hub warehouse and customers, and recommend/implement improvements.
  • Maintain and follow the safety protocols for workers and equipment.
  • Audit and adjust processes and oversee employee productivity metrics.
  • Formulate and enforce goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.
  • Work to develop and implement procedures for unloading orders from vendors and stocking them on our shelves.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices.
  • Ensure trucks/ trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded/ unloaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support mission objectives.
  • Performs other job related duties as required.

  • Must have experience with the “SSAVIE” IT SYSTEM (Special Operations Forces Sustainment, Asset Visibility and Information Exchange).
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • USMC MOS of 3043 or 3051, Army MOS 92Y, Air Force AFSC 2S051, and Navy Logistics Specialist (LS).
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen.
  • Must hold an active Secret Security clearance.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
