Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana is a state of the art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of a drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This is a permanent full time position and paid hourly. The shift is Weekend PM 6:00 pm – 6:30 am Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A manufacturing associate’s primary duty is to perform a variety of operational tasks in accordance with current GMP's. Responsibilities include: Follow accurately all GMP documents (Batch records, SOPs, protocols, etc), operate safely production equipment, operate in a clean room environment within required gowning, aseptic behaviors, and proper flow procedures, must work effectively in a team environment to achieve company goals, must adhere to company compliance, safety and attendance requirements.

The Role:

  • Has developed proficiency developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
  • Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Effectively trains Drug Product personnel
  • Performs equipment setup & changeover
  • Troubleshoot and provide recommendations/implement solutions to resolve basic equipment and or process problems in a timely manner
  • Identifies, escalates, and documents events and subtle variances that deviate from normal operation; participate as needed in investigations
  • Drives area continuous improvement projects
  • Performs PM, CIP, and SIP operations to prepare equipment for manufacturing operations
  • Actively promotes and demonstrates good communication and escalation

The Candidate:

  • High School/GED required
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years GMP experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements

Must be available to work - Weekend PM 6:00 pm – 6:30 am Friday, Saturday and Sunday
