The Visual Operations team defines the strategy for visual assets (the images, videos, 360 spinners you see when purchasing a product) produced by Wayfair by partnering with the GMs of Wayfair Brands, Specialty Retail Brands (AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane), and Marketing Channels. It is also responsible for the production and delivery of assets quickly, at a high quality, and at scale.

Our team is looking for a forward-thinking Manager with a passion for reporting, analytics, and solving complex problems. Applicants for this role must be ready to optimize our processes in order to drive outsized results for our internal customers and brands. Note that no Visual Assets experience is needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Report and track the visual assets produced for brands such as AllModern, Joss&Main, Birch Lane, or homegrown Wayfair brands (ex. Kelly Clarkson Home).
  • Work with our marketing channels (Email Advertising, Google, etc) to design tests to optimize the imagery we present to our customers.
  • Be able to tell a strong story with data to senior level stakeholders (Directors+)
  • Work with our Visual Assets Support teams to maximize the amount our Wayfair imagery is surfaced to a customer on our internal Wayfair site.
  • Analyze the gaps in what we produce today and what we are seeing on the Wayfair site and tackle the biggest problems.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of work experience. Operations and process-improvement focus is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google suite - familiarity / proficiency with SQL and/or Google Big Query is a plus
  • Strong quantitative skills - analytical, problem-solving mindset with ability to find creative solutions
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience
