Job Title: Manager, Buying - Omni Outlet NA & Europe


Primary Purpose: The Manager, Buying – Omni Outlet NA & Europe is a passionate and analytical individual who will be the key driver of the North America and Europe Outlet business. They will be an experienced business builder and comfortable managing the needs and opportunities of different regions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop assortment and pricing strategies for each channel: NA Outlet stores, US Online Outlet, and Europe Outlet stores
  • Analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance to identify product, category, and sku count needs and communicate back to global merchandising
  • Coordinate with marketing and VM for quarterly signage and email needs
  • Partner closely with Planning on inventory and distribution strategy to maximize turn and sell-thru
  • Competitive pricing and product analysis
  • Partner closely with the Ecommerce and Digital teams to plan and execute Online Outlet events
  • Regular communication with our store teams on immediate and long term needs
  • Perform weekly reporting and analysis and identify actions based on business trend
  • Manage, coach, and develop Assistant Buyer

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable partnering with many different teams
  • Comfortable performing ad-hoc analysis and operating with limited systems
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Buying, Planning, and/or Allocation
  • Omni channel experience is preferable
  • Experience in a sized category is a plus
