Manager IoT Embedded Software Engineering - Hybrid

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the quality design and build of IoT AWS and Azure Platforms
  • Architect level implementation experience with the design, implementation and operation of a full-scale IoT architecture from asset connectivity, to data aggregation and normalization, to integration to other enterprise technology systems such as the Web portal, back office systems.
  • Define and maintain reference IoT Architecture Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in application architecture, database architecture, and networking
  • Understanding of emerging IoT technologies and communications protocols including MQTT, WebSockets, and Notification engines, preferably implementation experience in AWS and Azure IoT services;
  • Experience in one or more specific IoT / embedded / M2M industry (i.e. industrial IoT applications, home automation, business automation, asset tracking, smart city, etc.)
  • Use of OTA technologies to update SW onto distributed customer-premise devices.
  • 4+ years hands on experience with embedded systems development
  • Hands-on experience on nRF, STM32 SoC, Atmel, TI Sitara boards, NXP
  • Good programming skills on Embedded C, C++, Python, Low level driver development
  • Good Knowledge on UART, I2C, SPI, ADC etc.
  • Operating System knowledge - Linux
  • Knowledge on Eagle PCB design tool , Flash Tools, JTAG Debugger
  • Experience in configuring, troubleshooting of Linux environment
  • Good Implementation knowledge on Communication Protocols like Zigbee, LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi
  • Good understanding of Network Protocols - MQTT,HTTP, JSON objects
  • Hands on experience with Flash Tools and JTAG Debugger
  • Embedded Programming knowledge C, C++ and Python
  • Wireless consumer electronic device experience including Beagle bone or Raspberry Pi is preferred; Bluetooth/BLE/Wi-Fi connectivity knowledge is a plus
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
  • Knowledge of industry tools including Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, and JIRA.
