As a member of AS Trading Reconciliation, you will work with the other team members to provide outstanding service to our clients and business partners. It's this level of service that differentiates us from our competitors and serves as a sustainable competitive advantage.What you are good at

  • Work in a team environment, respond to partner concerns, and resolve issues within scope of knowledge and authority. Monitor risk associated with balances and positions in inventory and master accounts, raising when appropriate.
  • Assist team members and managers in day to day managerial tasks.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of own work within established time frames.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate with other departments, such as Settlements, to assist in settling AS DVP trades in a timely manner.
What you have

  • Excellent operational and customer contact skills with the ability to handle and process complex operational work.
  • Experience or willingness to learn Schwab’s products, services, trading and electronic platforms, and policies and procedures.
  • Experience or willingness to learn basic and advanced Schwab.com and Trading Platforms for utility, usability, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience or willingness to learn systems used to post and correct transactions including Mercury, Legacy, Jupiter, MyQ, and GenTran.
  • Emotional intelligence: Demonstrates outstanding professionalism, interpersonal skills, client focused and leadership-based relationship skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment, including sharing feedback and knowledge with peers.
  • Desire to grow and develop leadership skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and complete projects.
  • Strong knowledge and support of company initiatives/products.
  • PC literacy with solid understanding of MS Office.
  • The ability to quickly master other related business systems.
  • Two to five plus years Advisor Services experience is preferred.
  • Series 7, 9, 10 & 63 required or may be obtained via a condition of employment.
