The Resilient Navigation and Reconnaissance Systems (RNRS) Operational Systems Sustainment (OSS) Finance Team in El Segundo, CA is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager. OSS is a product line in the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Mission Area of Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) division.

This leader will manage MP-RTIP and GH Sustainment programs with four direct reports. The candidate will work closely with Program managers and Control Account Managers (CAMs) at all stages of the programs. This includes helping with proposals, negotiations, baselines, Estimate At Complete (EACs) and external deliverables.

The Finance Manager will provide guidance and training to their direct reports to ensure the team adheres to internal and external policies. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring on-time deliverables to internal and external customers. The candidate will be required to support leadership meetings and make recommendations to the Program Managers during Gates reviews, EACs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and other pertinent program and finance meetings.

The candidate will be responsible for Short Range Outlook (SRO) at the program level, forecasts within Raytheon systems, and the analysis of forecasts, including changes to headcount and other elements of cost to OSS FP&A lead. The individual should have strong analytical skills and possess the ability to understand forecast trends to make recommendations, identify and drive resolution of balance sheet issues (e.g., unbilled, aging), and analyze name run data to ensure accuracy and compliance. This position requires the ability to provide top-level program guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provides financial support and guidance to program team (PMs, CAMs, Contracts) from initial proposal through program execution and closure.
  • Ensures adequate financial controls that provide a balance between finance goals and program goals.
  • Leads planning and forecasting processes for MP-RTIP & Global Hawk.
  • Provides cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support, utilizing standard company tools while remaining compliant with standard processes.
  • Reviews financial reports, presentations and bids for accuracy and completeness.
  • Reviewing and analyzing contract modifications for financial correctness.
  • Provides variance analysis and month/year-end close reporting and monitoring, program financial forecasting and contract closeouts.
  • Manage, train, and grow direct report employees. This includes performance reviews, and career development plans.

Required Skills:

  • Prior work experience with a US Government defense contractor.
  • Experience with the following tools/software: SAP, PRISM, APEX, BW Reporting, or Rplan.
Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s degree. Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field preferred.
