Job Description

The Manager of Finance is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and providing business unit support during monthly closing, reporting and forecasting for Realogy Brokerage Group. This is a critical and highly visible role, requiring the ability to develop strong working partnerships with senior business leaders. Sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, determined work ethic, and willingness to roll up your sleeves are required to be successful. Key responsibilities include annual planning/budgeting, monthly forecasting, management reporting, revenue and expense analysis and other key strategic initiatives.

Responsibility Detail:
  • Prepare RBG Monthly and Quarterly Reporting packages for submission to Corporate
  • Identify and provide detailed and thorough variances explanations between actual results versus forecast, budget and prior year.
  • Provide operational and financial insight to support the business decision making
    process.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, including all areas of the P&L, revenue and expense drivers, for business unit leaders.
  • Provide support in managing the overall annual budgeting process.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support internal/external analysis and reporting.
  • Responsible for calculating the annual performance incentives across RBG.
  • Develop, strengthen and document standard processes and reporting.
  • Manage Hyperion Planning hierarchy and work with BI team to enhance current and create new Hyperion Planning tools/models, when needed.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies and improvements to the internal control structure on an on-going basis (both process flow and system operations).
  • Perform quantitative and financial modeling for ad-hoc projects.

Experience / Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 6-10 years related analytical and reporting experience.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience working with Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Smart View toolset.
  • Familiarity with general ledger accounting systems and consolidation systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results to senior management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment where a daily "open items" list will change based upon the needs of management.
  • Strong initiative, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
