JOB Summary

The Manager leads a team of Contract Specialists to provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external customers. While advocating a climate of ownership and accountability, this person will train, coach, and mentor team members in order to deliver support to all worksite operations team members, project leads, and associated leadership partners. The role continually looks for process improvement opportunities to better service our customers and deliver positive business results.

Responsibilities

Lead team of Contract Specialists focused on supporting worksite operations group set up, Plan IDs, creation of Master Policies, and project support

Coach and mentor team members and maintain culture of continuous improvement

Effectively manage resources and direct workflows to optimize service outcomes and achieve business objectives

Continually analyze, propose, and implement improvements to workflows, structure, and service models

Maintain up to date knowledge of operational needs, products, and insurance industry

Maintain positive working relationships with related departments and resolve customer issues using judgment in escalating issues as appropriate

Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

Identify issues and appropriately communicate these issues to the Operations Leadership Team

Annual Review documentation and delivery

Ability to influence and work under pressure to meet operational needs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to identify issues, remediation tactics and escalation paths

Qualifications
Skills

At least four years’ experience successfully leading an operational team, preferably in the insurance, financial services or professional services industries

History of continuous process improvement and proactive ownership of workflows

Strong skills using Microsoft Office suite of products

Background in insurance preferred

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
