Who You Are:

A Manager, Account Management is a fast-paced position within the agency requiring strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, a laser focus on client growth and relationship building the ability to collaborate across internal teams efficiently and effectively.

The Manager, Account Management must have and maintain a solid baseline understanding of all media channels and strategies and know how to speak to their value at the point of the client. This role is highly strategic in nature and must always be on the lookout for potential growth and revenue opportunities and be able to position these opportunities at the point of the client. You are never satisfied with the status quo. You have a growth mentality and are constantly pushing to build and expand relationships, achieve higher level relationships within the client and find ways to offer strategic value to clients that will generate more revenue for JUST and improve client performance to help them achieve their goals and fulfill their purpose.

Responsibilities:

  • Client communication- email, phone, in person and entertaining (lunch, dinner, events)
  • Act as primary client contact by understanding client goals and optimizing their success through research and analysis
  • Manage, review and analyze all client facing deliverables
  • Ensure all key presentations have rehearsal and practice sessions
  • Effective in person presenting
  • Assist in the creation of overall campaign strategy including media, data and creative elements
  • Lead internal team collaboration with media services and creative
  • Keep meeting notes and communicate effectively with internal teams via meeting recaps and briefings with action items clearly outlined with context
  • Identify potential revenue opportunities and bring them to clients
  • Track progress of sales/upsell/growth efforts and report to internal stakeholders
  • Assist in team staffing/scope development
  • Forecast revenue monthly and keep up to date ongoing as things change
  • Own client finance tracking including invoice, PO, SOW, payments and ensure team stays paid up to date and working within budgets
  • Monitor SLAs and ensure work stays on track
  • Maintain Market Knowledge- Client/industry updates, media/marketing/advertising updates/best practices and innovations
  • Mentor/train Associates and Coordinators on the media team in the areas of their jobs that include client facing tasks, such as communication best practices.

Education and Experience:

  • Mastered the Associate, Media levels
  • Demonstrated strong skills in client management and interest in an Account Management Role.
  • If hired from outside, would be expected to have equivalent Account Management/sales experience, preferable with a media background.
  • Strong performance track record including proven revenue generation and exceeding assigned goals.
  • A manager has a comprehensive portfolio of past work that forms the basis of strategic insights to be offered to clients and internal teams.
