Industrial Maintenance Technician

MMT-Productivity, Inc. provides metalworking machine tools, supplies, robots, and related equipment for manufacturing in Colorado, Utah, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa, Nebraska, and western Wisconsin. We are looking for talented Maintenance Technicians to join our Utah team.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is down or in need of repair at customer locations
  • Perform troubleshooting tasks - electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software - including three-phase, single-phase, control circuits, motors, switches, switches and spindles, gearboxes, bearings, and peripheral equipment.
  • Identify & replace parts as necessary. Test & make adjustments
  • Read and review mechanical and electrical print diagrams and technical repair manuals
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports

Requirements

  • Previous industrial maintenance experience; troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
  • Technical training or certificate in a related field, i.e.; mechatronics, electro-mechanical, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance
  • Ability & desire to work independently
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license. Clean driving record
  • Monday – Friday - Occasional overtime - Very limited overnight travel

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent and/or continuous standing; walking; climbing; bending; twisting; pushing/pulling; reaching at, below and above shoulders. Frequent driving-sitting.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Frequent 1-30 pounds; Occasional 30-75 pounds; Seldom above 75 pounds
