Career Opportunity:
WestRock is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (3p-1am Mon – Fri) for Card Printing and Packaging equipment. Pay will include a $1.00 Shift Differential for working night shift. Full Health Benefits after 30 days of employment with a robust 401k plan.
How you will impact WestRock:
Troubleshoot and repairs electronic components.
Troubleshoot and repairs mechanical components.
Troubleshoot, motors, pumps, compressors, and any other systems in plant.
Program computers and PLC’s.
Perform/Maintain preventative maintenance program on equipment.
Perform Lock Out Tag Out Procedure
Maintain Clean work area.
Works on call as required.
Performs various types of welding as needed.
Builds custom parts on demand.
Support production as needed to maintain proper output.
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) preferred.
Training/certification in machine-specific and electronics fields.
2 years’ experience in manufacturing equipment repair/diagnosis.
3 years’ experience in electrical component repair/diagnosis.
Flexibility to work on on-call as needed.
Certified in various types of welding preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot various machines and problems to find solutions
Flexibility to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
