Maintenance Mechanic - Nights

Hours: 10pm to 6am

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery. Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery. Complete daily maintenance and repair logs. Communicate with operators from other shifts. Maintain and secure work tools. Clean and maintain work area. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. Other duties as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Assemble or disassemble equipment or machines

· Clean and lubricate parts

· Examine parts for breakage and wear

· Maintain, repair, adjust, or lubricate machines or machinery

· Troubleshoot, locate, identify, or diagnose malfunction

· Use power or hand tools

· Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems or components

· Maintain, adjust or repair pneumatic or hydraulic systems

· Troubleshoot, repair, or maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)

· Weld broken or cracked parts

· Fabricate parts

· Inspect for conformity to industry standards or specifications

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance mechanic of a manufacturing plant.

· Minimum 4 years’ experience in repairing W&H Tuber and Bottomer machines preferred.

· Minimum of a High School Diploma.

· Bachelor of Science degree or mechanic certifications preferred.

· Able to Lift 41 - 70 pounds.

· Able to walk or stand for at least 5 hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
