Flexible Packaging Film Converter is seeking an energetic and dependable High-Speed Slitter
Machine / Production Operator.
Hours:
Background in production machine operation is a definite benefit, but not required as we will train.

Machine / Production Operator.
Hours:
- 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) - 5 day work week or
- 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) - 4 day work week
- Overtime is offered when needed

Qualifications
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Capable of using minor tools
- Basic math and writing skills
- Organizational skills
- Be able to troubleshoot / solve problems
- Communicate well with co-workers
- High school graduate or equivalency
Responsibilities
- Operation of a high-speed slitting machine
- Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
- Load film rolls and unload finished rolls from slitter
- Effectively monitor production equipment
- Ensure rolls meet quality standards (visually able to spot defects and correct the issue)
- Packaging (weighing/labeling/bagging/palletizing finished product)
- Rework/rewind product
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow practices for food safety/defense
- Maintain properly written logs for production
- Address all safety concerns and following safety procedures in place
- Operating a pallet jack
- Production scrap removal
- Additional duties not mentioned above
