Job Description
Merakey is seeking a LPN Outpatient Methadone Dispensing Nurse to join our Behavioral Health division in Philadelphia, PA on Parkside Ave.

Shift: Mon-Fri, 5:30am-1:30pm and every other Sat-Sun, 7:30am-1:00pm OR Mon-Fri, 6:30am-2:30pm and every other Sat-Sun, 7:30am-1:00pm

?POSITION OVERVIEW

The LPN Outpatient Methadone Dispensing Nurse will administer medication and therapeutic treatments as per physician's orders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • Monitor for potential side effects and report it to psychiatrist
  • Provide care in a manner that considers the patients' rights, safety, comfort, and the overall therapeutic environment
  • Observe and document and report patient behavior
  • Monitor and document weights, pulses, respiration, and blood pressures for children and adolescents starting stimulant medications
