Shift: Full Time days & nights – 12 hour shifts

Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has been providing quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services to Idaho's Treasure Valley and the western US since 1980. This 151-bed facility is located on 10 beautiful acres near the foothills of Idaho's dramatic Sawtooth Mountains. The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing .

Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LPN in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the Idaho State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of CPI including restraint and seclusion policy, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in seclusion/restraining procedures.
