Job Description
The selected employee will be the Logistics Program Manager (LPM) for the International Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Program, which has Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) components.

This IWSS Line of Business has the lead for this program. This LPM will work for Global Sustainment and manage the people, processes, and tools that deliver logistics products and analyses to the program office. The organization is based in Moorestown, NJ. While current work conditions dictate telecommuting due to the COVID-19 pandemic, future work arrangements/locations will be considered as part of the LMForward initiative to shape the future work solution to meet mission requirements.

Lockheed Martin Moorestown serves as a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin Canada for the development of certain components of the Aegis Weapons System. As the Logistics Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead the LPM will work closely with Lockheed Martin program managers, technical leads, manufacturing leads, program finance, Control Account Managers (CAMs), program planners and other IPT leads. Externally, the LPM will interface and coordinate with PEO IWS-4 and its subcontractor support, as well as representatives of foreign navies, shipyards, and subcontractors. The successful candidate will need to ensure that plans, detailed schedules, manpower, and resources are in place and that all program milestones and deliveries (internal and external) are successfully met within cost, schedule, and quality requirements.

The candidate will apply extensive technical expertise to requirements development and be able to synthesize results into affordable and executable sustainment solutions. The candidate will perform technical, operational, and business coordination between the Global Sustainment Centers of Excellence (COE), assigned Program offices, and internal functions to ensure horizontal and vertical integration within and between the teams. The candidate will support assigned program managers in directing daily team and individual tasks and will be required to lead special assignments.

The Logistics Program Manager leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry. In concert with the LOB and/or Market Segment Leadership, ensures program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Global Sustainment Practices. Leads Global Sustainment capture teams to shape, create, estimate, and propose new business as it relates to the program.
Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

  • Experience/working knowledge of the Aegis Combat Management System
  • Experience in DoD acquisition logistics
  • Must have current, FINAL SECRET clearance
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Project/program planning experience

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants selected must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and drug test.
Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.
