Pace is seeking an experience Logistics Coordinator/ Warehouse Lead to join our Operations Team in Bessemer, AL to

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement pre-dispatch preparations as well as post-dispatch customer debrief and follow-up.
• Ensure customer pallets and packages are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Work with the operations team to prepare loads for shipment to customers’ recipients.
• Demonstrate ongoing proactivity in the process of receiving, sorting, staging and distributing freight in a fast-paced environment.
• Confirm that warehouse and/or cross-dock activities are carried out so that multiple receipt, staging, launch and delivery deadlines are met.
• Update and maintain shipping information and monitor labor costs and transportation rates to support facility/market profitability.
• Collaborate with Logistics Manager and Logistics Supervisor to prevent quality control issues.
• Identify and resolve logistical operational issues.
• Act as first point of contact for all drivers and ensure all drivers are prepared for dispatch

Shifts Days/ Times: Sundays, Tuesdays- Fridays 07:00 - 16:00. Off Days: Mondays & Saturdays.
