Hiring Local CDL Class A Truck Drivers:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as needed.

• Gives customers prompt and courteous service.

• Identifies proper underground storage tanks for delivery at all locations.

• Responds to Hazmat spills within scope of Hazmat Operative Level training.

Qualifications:

• Must be of legal age to work in the state or local city or town.

• Maintains mandatory driving certifications (CDL license, medical, HAZMAT, TWIC endorsements).

• Complete knowledge of petroleum tankers, and safe procedures practicing safe driving skills including defensive driving.

• Knows proper responses and handling of gas spills and reporting procedures.

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.

• Clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Meet all DOT requirements regarding medical qualifications.

• Participate in a Drug and Alcohol Testing program.

• Position has physical requirements which requires, lifting, squatting and climbing and working in all weather conditions.
