We are currently looking for a Linux System Administrator with a High-Performance Computing Cluster background in Odon, Indiana.


As the Linux System Administrator, you will perform many daily duties, including:

  • Administrating a Linux Environment, automating recurring tasks, and assisting with scanning and remediation.
  • Assisting with smaller projects such as two-factor authentication.
  • Assisting users with issues on the High-Performance Cluster (e.g. Rocks Cluster).
  • Ensuring Rocks is compliant with cybersecurity policies (i.e. Risk Management Framework).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • 5 years of experience in system administration in a Linux environment with 2 years of experience with shell scripting (bash, perl, or python).
  • Strong RedHat Linux and Windows Server System Administration, TCP/IP Networking, and shell scripting.
  • Proven customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills through prior work experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An active Secret Clearance is required. Must be a United States citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent experience in Linux cluster management software (e.g. Rocks Cluster).
  • Experience with System Hardening with standards such as the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCAP.
  • Repository and version control tools such as GitLab.
  • IAT Level II (Linux +, Sec +) certification.
