Job Description

The Line Operator will be responsible for setting up the production line including, conveyors, sheeters, v-mag and proofer. This position also assembles and organizes equipment needed for each product run to maintain production speeds and minimize down time during changeovers.

We are recruiting for the Swing shift (1:00 - 9:30 pm) and Night shift (9:30 pm - 5:00 am).

Duties

  • Adjust sheeters, sifters, conveyors, guillotine, cutter, v-mag or conveyors as needed;
  • Assemble and set up all equipment needed for each product run;
  • Keep records of production speeds, weight checks and another other data input;
  • Monitor and maintain the production speeds as set on production schedule;
  • Maintain a sanitary work area;
  • Supervise and train any trainees working with you.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, or applicant working towards completion of either, is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Must be able to work weekend days scheduled during heavy production periods.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to accurately record data.
  • Ability to work well in a quick-paced environment.
  • Team player willing to perform additional duties as required.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • 1 year of experience in a food production plant is preferred but not required.

Medical, dental, and vision benefits will be offered after 90 days of continuous full-time employment. Paid Time Off (PTO) will be front loaded on the 91st day of employment. 401K plan with up to 4% matching contributions, holiday pay and profit sharing will be available to candidate selected following completion of one full year of continuous full-time employment. Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00 - $20.00 PH (DOE). Pay will be reviewed following successful completion of all training required. NOTE: Applications and resumes will be retained for 90 days at which time they will be destroyed
