SUMMARY: The LearningManagement Systems Manager provides technical leadership in the support of AxiomSpace learning management system (LMS). This position is responsible for thesupport, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance ofcontent, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions while overseeingthe installation of all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools andsoftware integrated with the LMS. In addition, the LMS Manager will alsodevelop, facilitate and supervise training programs for employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop,maintain, and operate various technologies used in the delivery ofinstructional and/or interactive programs and courses.
- Researchand resolve LMS functionality issues.
- Provideand develop roles, security, and enrollment management.
- Solvebasic technical problems; investigate and seek solutions to complex issues andperform onsite installation or replacement of various hardware and software forLMS.
- Giveindividual or group instruction to users or make arrangements for instructionof software or systems.
- Collaboratewith IT to configure workstations, system hardware and software, and providetechnical assistance as needed.
- Assistin determining hardware, software needs and upgrades.
- Runsreports as needed to show LMS usage.
- Reviewsand improves system operations practices.
- Providesimmediate response to problems and emergency situations affecting normaloperations.
- Performscapacity planning for data storage and performance.
- Reviewssystems performance proactively.
- Worksclosely with appropriate external vendors to ensure efficient functionality ofresources.

UserManagement:
- Createsuser logins as needed and assigns user permissions.
- Createsand manages user structures including the creation of user groups and learningcohorts.
- Managescourse enrollment including progress tracking.
CourseManagement:
- Publishesand archives online or blended learning solutions, assigns training curricula,and adds and deletes resources.
- Workswith the Information Technology department to manage the course asset library.
- Populatescourse information and assigns learners.
- Developsand updates standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learninginformation; generates standard and custom reports.
- Analyzesreporting data and recommends strategic direction to HR, technical managers, orothers, as appropriate.
- Createsand manages the overall course structure and sets up course programs based onspecifications from the instructional designer.
- Managestracking of course revisions and history.
- Buildsonline assessments and evaluations in LMS for courses.
Troubleshooting:
- Providestroubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS andaccessing courses.
- Troubleshootsand resolves issues relating to system functionality and software systems.
- Servesas point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction withLMS vendor and other vendor support services.
- Reviewsand monitors system performance.
Trainer:
- Develop, implement, and monitor training programswithin an organization.
- Create brochures and training materials.
- Evaluate needs of company and plan training programsaccordingly.
- Conduct continuing education training.
- Provide leadership development education.
- Build solid cross-functional relationships.
- Provide logistical support, course development,delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
- Interact with 3rd party provides as wellas serve in-house training needs (such as Navex Global, San Jacinto College,etc.)

Education &Experience
- Bachelor’sDegree required
- 6years’ experience in training and development
- Experiencedin design and implementation of Learning Management System required
- Experiencedin data management and reporting
- Experiencein aerospace industry preferred
- Mustpossess excellent communication skills.
