Learning Management System Administrator

Overview of Position


This position will play a critical role in Change Healthcare organization’s efforts to leverage learning systems for team member growth and career development. The candidate will be responsible for the management, coordination, and maintenance of the Change Healthcare University Learning Management System (LMS) and related systems.


What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Manage the overall system configuration and content architecture to include course codes, catalog structure and program congruence

  • Troubleshooting errors, issues, and new requirements in a timely manner

  • Coordinate with training staff and stakeholders to facilitate program structure and settings

  • Maintain a high-working knowledge of LMS enhancements and upgrades through vendor and related websites

  • Perform staff and team member training as necessary when system changes occur or for refresher purposes

  • Serve as a liaison between the LMS vendor and Change Healthcare

  • Collect reports on program, organization, and user level data on a routine basis

  • Gather data from users, analyze results, suggest, and implement improvements to LMS and other databases

  • Provide daily user support and manage, respond, and track activity within the LMS email box

  • Educate users on self-service tools and be a resource for adopting new functionality within the LMS

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 3-5 years’ experience (healthcare, training, credentialing, program management) required

  • Experience in managing a Learning Management System required, Cornerstone on Demand preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Systems, HR/Learning and Development or related discipline required

  • Experience with JavaScript (preferably including TypeScript), CSS and HTML and the challenges presented supporting different browsers

  • Advanced understanding of HTML/CSS and SQL

  • Experience with Power Bi and API calls to provide reporting information from the LMS

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills required

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • High level of customer satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience with writing unit, integration, and UI automated tests

  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels in the organization, think quickly on your feet, and work effectively as part of a positive, high-performing team
