TITLE: Lead Software Developer
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Software Developer in Riverwoods, IL to deliver technology solutions that support business goals. Partner with the product owner to understand business requirements, evaluate features, and translate application specifications into workable technical solutions. Maintain application software and systems. Ensure all projects and releases are appropriately tested and risks are mitigated. Oversee and review development activities of team members and contractors. Support technical initiatives and provide input into best practices to team. Mentor and advise peers on application knowledge and design. Seek out opportunities for automation and operational excellence. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing Java and Spring Boot; performing Linux Shell Scripting and utilizing high-level operating systems; practicing Test Automation; utilizing secure coding practices; and utilizing Oracle DB.
