Lead Oracle Database Administrator

As a Lead DBA you will work with some of the best technologists in the organization. The candidate should be able to analyze, design, troubleshoot and configure databases. There is plenty of opportunity to mentor, coach and develop your skills.

You will also be working with our team to support our internal oracle cloud infrastructure as well. You should be able to monitor, performance tune, patch, upgrade, and migrate database environments. You should also be familiar with incident management tools.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• 
  BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience with strong understand of database architecture and performance tuning skills.
• Extensive knowledge in Oracle OEM is must.
• Extensive IT service management experience.
• Expert experience administering various multi terabyte 24x7 uptime oracle databases as a infrastructure database administrator.
• Strong working experience with Oracle Versions 11g R1/R2, 12c, and 19c on various flavors of UNIX, and WINDOWS platforms.
• Strong proven oracle database performance diagnostic skills. both at SQL QUERY and SYSTEM level turning skills required.
• Experience with Multinode RAC cluster, ASM, Oracle Dataguard, Oracle OEM, and Oracle Golden Gate technologies.
• Extensive experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN, ZDLRA appliances.
• Programming experience in PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, JAVA, Perl , Python program languages is essential.
• Broad technology exposure including networks, distributed servers, SAN/NAS storage, virtualization, messaging, databases, and all major operating systems.
• Ability to work well in a pressured, dynamic environment.
• Ability to solve operational issues with operational, tactical and strategic solutions.
• Experience with Microservices is desirable.
• Cloud certification is desirable.
• Interpersonal skills, such as Analytical and technical communication skills.
