Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. – USDA, Athens, Georgia

Min. Yrs. Experience: 5 Years

Min. Yrs. Education: Trade/Vocational school

Pay: $23.61/hr. to $28.78/hr. plus fringe benefit of $4.81/hr. An additional employer contribution of $1.50/hr. will be made to your 401(k).

Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm – Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

  • Assisting Site Supervisor with oversight of subordinates, inspecting work to make sure standards have been met, assigning work orders via electronic maintenance system as well as delegating work to other crafts.
  • Assist with safety compliance and meetings, subcontractor coordination/escorts and meeting with various customers regarding work request. The lead will also perform and document inspections rounds and building walkthroughs.
  • Assist Project Manager and Supervisor with ISO quality program. Other duties include ordering mechanical parts, using diagnostic equipment, providing support and advice regarding repairs, maintaining equipment and all other duties assigned.
  • Employees are required to participate in the government select agent program and maintain a government tier 1 credential

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required by the Position:

  • Comprehensive mechanical knowledge/experience, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Applicants must possess knowledge of chill water, steam, hot water and building automation systems. Industrial experience is a plus.
  • Leadership, recordkeeping, customer service, and time management skills are also a must.
