Position Summary

The Lead, Digital Adoption will play a key role in contributing to the development of our end users’ technical/IT skills to meet organizational needs. The Lead, Digital Adoption will plan and implement training programs and workshops in a way that is engaging and meaningful to our user base. They are an evangelist and promoter of our IT services offering.

The primary responsibility of the Digital Adoption Lead is to create and implement IT training strategies and adoption plans that maximize employee usage and education, while minimizing resistance. This individual will work to foster a competitive edge as we work to use all our tools, boost confidence, and allow for team building, all while protecting our technology infrastructure. These improvements will increase employee engagement, productivity, retention, and commitment to Under Armour’s mission.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead all Digital Adoption initiatives
  • Devise a strategy for assessing digital adoption needs, then create training programs/content/artifacts
  • Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets, etc.)
  • Create requisite materials and handouts ahead of training sessions
  • Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops, etc.
  • Develop material and conduct technology portion of training to new hires during orientation
  • Demonstrated experience using a leading Learning Management System such as Success Factors / Plateau
  • Develop a repository to host all training material/coursework that can be referenced by trainees
  • Work closely with IT Project Management, IT Organizational Change Management, and Corporate Learning & Development functions to prepare an effective training schedule and agenda
  • Create reports with data on completed courses, issues, and absences, then report progress to leadership
  • Initiate surveys for training sessions after course completion to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of all training programs, then make improvements as necessary


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Advanced technical skills in e-learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Technical experience using tools like ServiceNow, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Expert in how-to video creation and presentation skills
  • Background in ITSM/ITIL, building service catalogs, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
  • Experience in designing technical course content
  • Strong administrative, research, and troubleshooting skills
  • Outstanding analytical, planning, and assessment abilities
  • Knack for hosting fun and accessible training workshops
  • Ability to detect and remove barriers to learning
Education And / Or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field
  • 5 years of experience as a technical trainer, corporate trainer, or similar
  • Experience with large-scale organizational training efforts
Other Requirements
  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
  • Return To Work Designation: 1-2 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote
  • Travel: 5-10% of the year
  • Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset
  • Program Experience: Collaboration tools such as Webex
