Lead Consultant - Workday HCM Testing

Infosys is seeking a Lead Consultant with End to End Testing experience in Workday HCM. This position will be responsible for creating a comprehensive set of test scenarios for the end-to-end test plan. The selected candidate will be accountable for executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected. The ideal candidate will partner with the PMO to log and manage test scenarios and defect management.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irving, TX, or Piscataway, NJ or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of Information Technology experience
• Experience leading end to end quality initiatives across a global region and/or substantive set of portfolios
• 7 years of hands-on testing in Workday HCM
• Deep domain knowledge in HR applications testing including upstream and downstream internal and external systems including PeopleSoft, Acuity, Talemetry, ADP, Fidelity, etc.
• Experience with setup, run and driven continuous improvement initiatives demonstrating improvements based on metrics
• Comprehensive knowledge test automation frameworks that validate functionality at different levels of the technology stack (e.g. WebService, GUI, Unit)
• Up to date knowledge of test tooling, tracking systems and experience of working with collaboration tooling
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working in test teams on large and complex ERP projects
• Good understanding of integrations and data flows with third-party systems
• Leadership and understanding of Agile techniques desirable (e.g. BDD, TDD)
• An in-depth understanding of the end to end software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on transitioning to Agile methodologies especially Agile test management
• Knowledge of end to end functional flows in HR modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll
• Must have very good testing process knowledge including hand-on experience across testing phases and testing tools,
• Exposure to automation including Selenium

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
